A leader who will drive results

Build solid infrastructure for growth and maintain the character of Pea Ridge

Freedom to Get Where We Need to Go Safely

Imagine all of us having the freedom to get to wherever we need to go in and out of Pea Ridge, the freedom to drive safely or use public transportation to get to work, to visit friends and family, or to cheer on our team. The current city council members are struggling on how to deal with rapid growth yet preserve the character of Pea Ridge.

With my deep knowledge of Pea Ridge’s history and my openness to fresh ideas, I know we can work with private, state, and county organizations to build safe roads and create fully funded, accessible, and reliable transit. We can ensure all of us have the freedom to move, save money, and live a good life.

Make Developers Pay Their Fare Share

No matter if you’ve lived in Pea Ridge all your life, or you’ve moved here recently, you deserve clean, safe water and reliable sewer services. Our area is growing at a tremendous pace, quickly outstripping the current infrastructure – all made worse as our planning commission and city council approved new development without adequate oversight or funding.

We need a balance of commercial and residential housing to ensure the city is well-funded. Homeowners alone cannot fund Pea Ridge. We need developers, businesses, and grants from the private sector to contribute.

The same old solutions from people who have served in the same positions for years or even decades cannot fix our modern problems. It’s time for new members on the city council who understand that they need to be in lockstep with the city planning commission to ensure that developers bake in costs of essential infrastructure for our roads, water, sewer, electric, and other utilities when they submit a new development plan.

Work Together to Fund Superior Digital Infrastructure

Like the physical infrastructure, the digital infrastructure of Pea Ridge isn’t able to support the needs of our growing population. Our city council needs members who understand our changing world and will collaborate with businesses that provide wireless, internet, and broadband services

As your city council representative, Wendy will use her experience in market research to listen to your digital needs, and collaborate across organizations to develop the business case to fund more robust digital services.

Planning for Smart Growth

How do we adequately plan for the future without losing the qualities that make Pea Ridge a great place to call home? By electing leaders who understand the needs of a growing population in the modern world who respect the heritage of Pea Ridge – leaders who understand the power of collaboration and research to get things done.

Wendy Harding is that leader. As an experienced market researcher, she’s spent her entire career gathering feedback and using data to make decisions that improve lives, working across different groups to drive progress and implement new, award-winning products.

As your city council representative, Wendy will work with private, state, and county organizations to pursue smart growth that respects the heritage of Pea Ridge.
